15hh ID x Welsh Section D 'Zac' and I have shared nearly 15 years of adventures (and plenty of misadventures). As he enters his 20th year, I have been thinking more and more about the"Mr Zac Bucket List", and have decided to take on the 'Dragon Trail', or some version thereof, in the Spring of 2024.

I have long dreamed of exploring more of Wales on horseback. I simply can not think of a better way to see the world than through this pair of ears.

The route will cover some 300 miles in all, and is quite the feat of planning and preparation. A busy and demanding work, home and social life, and various health complaints, make up just a handful of the obstacles we will have to face in order to succeed on our quest to 'hack' the length of Wales.

The ride will cover some 300 miles, at a planned rate of 20 miles per day. My Welsh Collie, 'Mia',will also be joining us for the duration.

I aim to share with you every aspect of planning and preparation, from top tips to "do not do"s. I hope you will join me on my adventure, all in aid of charity and of a much-loved little horse with a big heart.
